A MILESTONE IN THE HISTORY OF THEBIGWORD
Monday
November 17th, 2014 is a very important milestone in the history of
thebigword, as we will be launching thebigword’s Translation Management System
(TMS). It officially launches today and it is going to revolutionize the
language industry. Seriously, it is - it promises 28% savings on translation
spend for businesses, 66% better quality translations, and delivers four times
faster than the industry average. Bringing the latest technology together with
highly qualified and experienced linguists, will ensure that we deliver
perfect communications globally. What is more, our incredibly bright software
team has ensured that it’s the most secure translation management system on the
market today.
Our
research shows that less than half of 1% of all digital content that could be
translated, actually is. The new thebigword TMS is life changing not just for
our clients but for our linguist and Project Managers. On many of our global
projects we can use up to 200 linguists spread across multiple countries and
continents, and the new TMS helps co-ordinate the process in the most amazing
way, giving the customer an exceptional experience.
This is the
second Process Management System that we have launched in the last 12 months.
The first earlier this year being the Interpreting Management System (IMS).
thebigword delivers 1.5 million minutes of interpreting over the
telephone every month, connecting people in 235 languages within 30 seconds. The excellent feedback from that launch was not just about technology
but again was very much about an improved customer experience.
The first
quarter of our financial year ended August 31st, and it was the best
in our company’s 33 year history. The second quarter ending November 30th,
will add two additional milestones. It will be the best ever month in our 33
years and the second quarter will now beat last quarter’s results. Wow!
The real
reason, we believe, for the recent successes has been equally down to not just
the technology but also the work that we have done in the area of ‘exceptional
customer service’. We know this because many of our customers are telling us!
When you
have the right people to work with the technology, in tandem with continual
exceptional customer service training, what could be better!
I am really
proud that BBC Online featured us this week and I am attaching a link for you
to look at. It also has a great picture of many of our wonderful staff based at
our Headquarters in Leeds.
Have a
wonderful week. I look forward to updating you on the progress of how our Process
Management Systems are making huge changes to world of language communications.
